Apple strudel


2 sheets puff pastry, defrost to room temperature

2-3 large apples (preferably sour)

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

2 tablespoons sugar

2 tablespoons flour

Half a glass of chopped nuts

3 tablespoons brown sugar

2 tablespoons of regular sugar

2 tablespoons breadcrumbs

1 egg + 1 teaspoon water, whisking, for greasing


Heat the oven to 190 degrees.

Clean, remove the core and cut apples. Put in a bowl and mix with cinnamon, brown and regular sugar, flour.

Leave on for 20 minutes to let the apples juice. In a separate bowl, mix nuts, 2 types of sugar and crackers.

Roll out 1 sheet of dough, sprinkle with walnut mixture and put Apple on top.

Close the stuffing by wrapping the edges of the dough. Repeat with the second sheet and the remaining filling.

Fold the edges of the rolls. Lay out rolls on a baking sheet covered with paper. Lubricate with egg grease.

Make longitudinal cuts on each roll.

Bake at 190 degrees for 40-45 minutes until Golden brown.

Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
