Cake “Potato”

1. Ingredients (on 20 units):
Crackers vanilla – 500 g
Condensed milk-400 ml
Cocoa powder-50 g
Butter-200 g
Dark chocolate 70-80% cocoa-100 g
Cognac-30 ml
Citrus candied fruit (to taste) – 20 g

Method of preparation:

1. First you need to grind crackers into small crumbs. This can be done with a meat grinder or a mill, the main thing is that there are no unmarried pieces.

2. In a separate bowl mix the jar of condensed milk with cocoa powder. Cocoa need to take 2 tablespoons with a slide. Grind until the disappearance of lumps, add the butter, cut into pieces and put on a small fire (until the butter is melted)

3. Further, in a bowl, melt a tile of bitter chocolate in a water bath. To do this, pour hot water into the pot, put a bowl of broken chocolate in the water and put it on fire so that the water is constantly boiling.

4. The chocolate mass is added to chocolate-oil cream half, i.e. 50 grams, and the rest will go to decoration.

5. At the end is mixed into the chocolate cream two tablespoons of brandy (for flavor).

6. Now mix the crumb and chocolate cream.

7. The result is such is the chocolate chips. If the “dough” will turn out dry, add little milk.

8. For the formation of potatoes better first to form the dough sausages, cut from the same pieces and roll them out of balls or wedges.

9. You can put inside some stuffing, preferably something with a rich flavor. Alternatively, citrus candied fruit (to taste).

10. For decoration cut all the same candied citrus very thin strips.

11. Remaining from the preparation of the dough chocolate once again heated to a liquid state. Each cake is covered with chocolate on top and put two pieces of sliced candied fruits.

12. Now we wait when the chocolate hardens. Cakes taste best the next day, when they are thoroughly soaked.
