Cottage cheese casserole

I’ve tried a dozen different recipes for cottage cheese. This – the most successful, besides, it does not contain flour. Casserole turns tender and airy, like a souffle.


  • 500 g cottage cheese
  •  3 eggs (separate yolks and whites)
  •  5 tbsp of semolina
  •  3 tablespoons of sugar
  •  1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 tbsp.  Baking powder


Heat the oven to 180 degrees. Mix all ingredients, except egg whites. Beat the whites in a separate bowl with a pinch of salt, until soft peaks form. Gently mix to the curd mass. Pour the finished product into a greased fireproof dish and bake for 45 minutes until the top turns Golden. Serve warm casserole with sour cream or jam.
