Stewed cabbage with smoked meat


When a wife leaves somewhere, and I am left alone, somehow the desire for cooking drastically drops.

Apparently, because there is no one for whom. And me something that – I would just be satisfying, tastier and simpler.

In such cases, stewed cabbage with smoked salmon saves – it’s such a purely masculine, slightly rancid dish, which is prepared very simply (during cooking you can elementary deal with your affairs, watch something, etc.), but it turns out delicious and satisfying.

And if a glass of good beer for stewed cabbage with smoked chicken is missed – then the evening in general can be considered very successful.


Carrots: 100 Grams,

Smoked-milk: 150 Grams,

Cold boiled waffles: 150 grams,

Red tomatoes: 100 Grams,

Parma ham: 100 Grams,

Gammon in / to: 150 Grams,

Thyme: 2 Gramma,

Cabbage: 800 Grams,

Vegetable oil: 30 milliliters,

Rosemary leaves: 1 teaspoon,

Salt: 1/2 teaspoonfuls,

Onions: 1 Piece,

Pepper sweet red (paprika): 1 Piece,

Black pepper powder: 1/4 Teaspoons




Carrots are cleaned and cut into thin half-rings (or just finely shredded).



Similarly finely chopped onions.



Take a large pot or saucepan, warm it in oil, throw the butter onions and carrots. Fry for a few minutes, until golden onions.



Pepper is purified from seeds and membranes, finely chopped.


When the onion is gilded – add pepper to the saucepan. Fry for another 3-4 minutes.



Further we take all our smoked products, cut into small pieces and send them to vegetables.

After a couple of minutes after that add the diced tomatoes to the pot.

Add the spices and stew on medium heat under the lid for 10-15 minutes.



In the meantime, shred our cabbage.

Load the cabbage into the pan and simmer for another 15 minutes over medium heat, stirring, under the lid.
